Antonio Scarponi (@scarponio) is the founder of the Zurich-based practice Conceptual Devices. His work and artistic research depict an aesthetic of space, freedom and empowerment, varying through different media. He studied architecture at Cooper Union, New York and IUAV Venice, from which he holds a PhD in Urban Design. His works have been widely exhibited in museums and galleries internationally and are part of several permanent collections. He currently teaches at the Zurich University of the Arts, where he is the co-head of the Certificate of Advanced Studies "Transforming Space".
